Tokyo Animation Centre opens

The Tokyo Anime Center has opened in Japan and the official website is now online, with the English-language version here. It is aimed at promoting Japanese animation and anime to fans and other otaku at home and the growing legions abroad, from TV anime to the internationally respected and beloved feature films of Miyazaki, as well as encouraging the development of animation and fostering new business opportunities - there is even a recording studio where if you are lucky you can see voice-overs for actual shows being recorded.
