Moore gets the Culture Show treatment

My good chum, Irish SF supreme and expert on all things Alan Moore, Pádraig, let me know that the BBC’s Culture Show is flagging up an appearance by the great man (Alan, not Pádraig, although he too is great in his own inimitable way) on their Next Week (Thursday 9^th) part of their site:

"A rare encounter with the master of the graphic novel, Alan Moore, plus the drawings of Michelangelo and a quick tour round some of the worst bits of British design."


Now isn't that a fine bit of juxtapositioning? Alan Moore and Michelangelo... On related news, the major Irish SF event, P-Con, organised by Pádraig, is now only a week away. Guest of honour is Susanna Clarke, with numerous other guests, including Charlie Stross, Colin Greenland, Juliet E McKenna, Leah Moore, John Reppion and my old mate Ariel, editor of The Alien Online.
