Kong is the King at Empire awards

Peter Jackson's King Kong remake was the big winner at the awards held by Britain's biggest movie magazine, Empire, taking the Best Movie category in a popular poll of readers (I don't trust myself to comment about the difference between popular and best). Revenge of the Sith took best SF movie with the scene depicting the creation of Darth Vader named as the best scene while Aardman's Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit took earned a Best Director gong for Nick Park and Steve Box.
