Absolute Sandman

Over on his journal Neil Gaiman has been mentioning how work is progressing at DC on an Asbolute Sandman volume. The Asbolute slipcased, hardback volumes from DC are quite gorgeous books, as any of you have checked out the Absolute Watchmen will know. Pricey, certainly, but you do get what you pay for and these are collections you know you are going to treasure for years (besides we always give you a very generous discount on our webstore to help!).

Work is ongoing on Absolute Sandman right now and Neil has actually posted up a request for help from Scott Nybakken at DC who is editing the volume and is trying to track down some original artwork from the series that fans may have so they can be used to create the best possible reproduction. Neil has a list of the issues and page numbers that DC are looking for (original art, not the comic issues remember) on his journal. Absolute Sandman volume... I am so there...
