The new Blade TV series is due to begin filming in Vancouver next week with Kirk ‘Sticky’ Jones (no, I don’t know why he’s called that) playing the title role, with the other major cast players confirmed as Jill Wagner, Neil Jackson, Nelson Lee and Jessica Gower. David Goyer is executive producer and Peter O’Fallon who worked on American Gothic among others will direct.

Still on the TV front Variety reports that a TV show based on Terminator is in the works if the pilot, The Sarah Connor Chronicles. is successful. The series is set between the events in the second and third Terminator movies and is being made by C2, the company behind T3 (C2, T3, this is starting to sound like a game of Battleships) and may link to a mooted fourth feature film (well, according to political observers in California, Arnie may be needing a new job in a year or two).
