Angel – previews of The Curse

Checking through my email in-tray today and I find something to warm my comic-loving bones on a chilly autumn morn – several pages of terrific art from the brand-new Angel series from IDW. Obviously we’re all big fans of all things Whedon here at FPI; we loved the series, we lapped up the comics, we bought the merchandise. Then the series stopped and for a time so to did the comics. We shared our despair in various Angel fan forum chat rooms late at night. Then IDW resurrected our favourite vampire-with-a-soul and we rejoiced!

Angel: the Curse is written by Jeff Mariotte, popular with legions of Buffy and Angel fans for his many novels featuring Joss Whedon’s beloved characters and features very cool, full-colour artwork by David Messina. The comic series has been a top seller for the groovy publishers over at IDW and when we heard a graphic novel of the Curse was coming in January we had to include it in our most recent newsletter (if you’re not subscribed to this already simply go to our main site and hit the ‘click here for our newsletter’ button on the top right to get a weekly update of the coolest new arrivals, best forthcoming products and special offers sent to you free).

Ah, but it gets even better, vamp-fans – Chris and our good chums at IDW decided to fuel our excitement by kindly sending us several pages of art from The Curse so we could share them with you all (thanks, guys!), so we are delighted to bring a tasty preview of the brand-new Angel series from IDW to you on our newly redesigned website – enjoy!.
