We need comics, lots of comics...

There are a whole slew of forthcoming titles to have a good browse through on the FPI Graphic Novels site this week: DC, Marvel and Image have all sent out their November lists and we’ve got them up and live for you.

All three have good mixes; Marvel has Shanna the She Devil, volume 4 of Garth Ennis’ Punisher Max and another entry in their all-ages Digest range featuring Ororo Munroe before she was Storm, living as a young thief in Cairo.

DC has the super-cool Losers from Andy Diggle and Jock, the latest (and possibly raciest) Y: the Last Man, another excellent Will Eisner Spirit volume in the Archive Editions range and Warren Ellis’ Europa-set Ocean among others, not to mention cult director Darren Aronofsky's comic adaptation of his own forthcoming film, the Fountain.

Image are promising us that what was supposed to be their tenth anniversary hardcover collection from four of it’s founders - Erik Larsen, Todd McFarlane, Marc Silvestri and Jim Valentino – is finally coming this November. Really and honestly this time. Image’s November list also includes the latest volume of The Walking Dead by hot scribe Robert Kirkman, a new Dawn hardback edition, the first Battle Pope volume (“when he’s not saying mass, he’s kicking ass”) and a sampler of several of Image’s titles first issues in Image First(somewhat like the Vertigo First Tastes idea) which looks like a good ‘un.
